if you had to dedicate your life to a cause or something you belief in, what would it be. what i mean is things like helping the poor, environmental issues, religion and the likes, what would be the thinking behind it and what you would like to gain from it in a whole and personelly.

For me, it would have to be the pursuit of scientific knowledge. It happens to be what I'm most passionate about and I'd like to contribute something new and previously unknown to the wealth of human knowledge and understanding.

In my teens, and 20's I was dedicated to making other people happy. Now, I'm dedicated to my own happiness first and foremost. Seems to work better for me, and others. By being more complete & centered in myself, I can help others. Everything else is just clutter.
