As some of you may have noticed SSN has changed its graphics last week. I was in my dads house yesterday and noticed that the info appearing on screen is too large for his actual screen. For example it was showing the league tables in the corner of the screen and it only showed the first 3 or 4 letters of each team name....the remaining info was squeezed off the screen.
This does not happen in my own telly and i have a much smaller screen than my dad.
    Can anyone explain this.
I fiddled with the various formats also, Large screen option, 16/9 and so on but to no avail.

SSN went widescreen two weeks ago, the same day they launched SSN HD and the SD version went available on any subscription package. The widescreen setting on your fathers tv must be setup incorrectly. Looks like its set up as pan and scan.

    Cheers.
Would there be info in the manual on how to set it up correctly?

If using Sky remote, press Services button

Go into System Setup then Picture Settings.

If top option is 4:3, toggle it to 16:9 (or change it to 4:3LB if he's still not got a widescreen TV), then go down to Save settings, and press Select.

    That should remedy it.
