What's wrong with the current one?

Saw the Kellogg painting on the embankment, very good.

not a whole lot wrong with the current one, slight slope, and some "fairy rings" in the grass, nothing major, probably one of the top 5 club pitces in the county, up there with, kilmanagh, thomastown, johns park and bennetsbridge imo.

But i for one will be voting for danesfort in support of the great work that has gone on in developing the club in the last 9 years or so, by Jim Fennelly and the likes, would be great to see financial reward for their efforts and success

are you kidding us? you obviously have not played on the pitch! it is a wreck and the goal mouths are actually dangerous they are so bad.
and with 29 teams using it - it is only going to get better if we get the money - so please vote for us everyday - for danesfort, for leinster and for rob kearney. come on leinster we cant get robbed of a win again!!!

This is very true, however my own laziness is outweighed only by my desire not to do any work today:

    http://www.kelloggs.ie/whatson/field-of-dreams/

Whoever designed that site has a major fetish for Adobe Flash, which I personally find really yok.

I also saw an allusion to 'confirming your email address' which essentially
means letting Kellogg's have your address so that they can serial (cereal?) spam you in return for your vote.

Seriously guys, don't let Marty Morrissey beat us, that would be the ultimate humiliation for any county.

Just had a doorstep visit from the Danesfort lads.

They are asking that when you vote the next time and receive the confirmation email (from no-reply@kelloggs.ie) and click on the Kelloggs link in it to verify your vote after which you will receive a thank you for voting message; that you forward them the email from no-reply@kelloggs.ie email to danesfort4@gmail.com and they will take over the voting for you till the end of the month. I suppose that way they can make sure that every voting opportunity is used and it means that the people who do it don't have to vote again because they they will vote for you. Clever of them. :)

It's brilliant to see people in the community willing to put in such a huge effort and give up their time for something like this.
