I've heard of this theory, that contradicts the current understanding of how the sun works, youtube

Now the video i link seems very seedy and probably got a bunch of things wrong, but is there truth to this theory? Anyone got any evidence that supports or refutes the electric universe theory. That video does have a propaganda/conspiracy tone to it, prob down to the individual, i'll see if i can find a more informative clip.

I'm not sure what to think, have we gotten it wrong? Or is this theory just a bunch of people seeing feathers and claiming it must be a chicken.

The guy starts off vague, says nothing solid then heads into a tirade of ant-science bull. He also fails to understand why some black holes would eject light in that way and the forces involved in creating a neutron star! I had to turn it off after 5 mins.
