    hey guys :)
Okay, so in school , we have to make a wall-hanging, a cartoon wall hanging actually to be more precise. We've already painted our sheets(I don't know the proper name to describe them) and now we've got to stitch in our cartoon character.
My sheet is yellow and the character I'm making is Jerry the mouse from Tom & Jerry.
My question how exactly do I stich the mouse into the sheet...? I hope that makes sense!!!
I've already got my felt, but we have to do it at home by ourselves... most of it finished this weekend!!!
So please help, I've got someone who can help me stitch the design into my yellow backround, but I don't know how to make the mouse, lol. Do i cut shapes out of the felt like to make Jerry? Our teacher said we have to use tracing paper, but I don't know.
I know you probably don't have a clue what I'm talking about but are there any good tutorials on youtube/anywhere where it instructs how to make a cartoon wall hanging?
Please Help and Thank You So Much in advance.

Have you got a picture of the mouse, and is it the right size? If not, find a mouse picture and enlarge it and print it off. If you can print 2 copies that would make it easier.

Use a felt pen or pencil to outline the different colour areas of the mouse. There will be the outline of the mouse, plus maybe its nose, ears, etc. cut out the picture into a jigsaw of these pieces.

Place them on the right coloured felt and either draw round them very carefully and cut them out, or pin the paper in place and cut it out.

When you have all the pieces cut out, put them together to see do they all fit in place, then put a bit of glue on each piece and stick it to the background. (only a bit of glue or it will make the background messy). When it has dried stitch round all th edges to hold them in place.
