    Hi,

Just lookking for some help regarding MVS Console cables. I have misplaced the AV cable for mine and was wondering do I need to get an AES AV cable or is there a standard one that I could buy.

Also what is the usual power rating on these as I have many power leads that fit it but can`t remember the rating (3amp, 5amp etc).

I am hoping that they are standard for most MVS conversions but I don`t know.

thanks for any help/advice in advance

Thought you'd gone crazy when you said MVS console! I take it you bought a consolized MVS from someone?

Not sure about the connections, it all depends how the consolization was done and what the connections physically look like. With an MVS connected to a supergun for example, you would just use a standard SCART cable and an ATX power supply.

hey o1s1n...yep its a consolised MVS. Powered direct from a 3-pin kettle-type connection. AV connection looks like a large S-video type connectoin and there is two gold plated connectors for sound as far as I can tell.

I`ll post a pic of the back of it in a while.

Looks like it takes a standard Neogeo AES scart connection for picture. The other two look like RCA out for sound.

This should do the trick -

Just go on an RGB Scart cable blitz. Get one for every console you own. Stear clear of AV and RF.
