Do i need to update/upgrade Lightroom?

Finally i got my grubby hands on my very own 5D MkII! :D:D However after spending the las two days shooting at a conference and coming back with about 12Gb of work, i find that my old copy of the original Lightroom wont open them. Is the only option upgrading to Lightroom 3? Ta!

You might need to update it.
According to Adobe's website it's supported since Lightroom 2.2.
You can download the updates for Lightroom for Windows or Mac from Adobe's Website.

The highest version of Lightroom 2 is 2.7. The updates are free as long as you have Lightroom 2.

If you're running the older Lightroom 1.4, I think you'd have to upgrade.
