I have a Galaxy S (android 2.1) but I have noticed that when entering text, it is really slow, you have to type the letter and wait for it to move on to the next letter, otherwise it overwrites what you wrote, (this is mainly when entering things on forms etc)

is there a fix for this?

Not sure if its the same on the galaxy bit turn the phone soothe screen in landscape and you'll get a full keyboard.

There is a fix, but there is also an update due within the next week or two.

Do a google search for Samsung Galaxy S Lag Fix. You need to know how to root the phone.

I used this and my phone is running great now, and advanced task killer.

I don't really want to root the phone, will the update that is due soon fix this issue? this is really the only lag I see on the phone (entering text), a small annoyance.
