    Someone modified the ipsw to restore 4.0.1 without shsh but displays 4.0.2 in syminfo. So they can't use jailbreakme coz as they were informed that the version is too new. But actually it's 4.0.1.

    Why would he bother with 4.0.2 when 4.1 is out on Wednesday? Surely it'd make more sense for him to be working on a 4.1 JB at this stage.

    The point, I think, is that he's found another entry point despite the PDF flaw being closed off, and this will (likely) be usable in 4.1. He won't release it for 4.0.2!

    well, he could release both, if there is a flaw in 4.0.2, its there in 4.1 too.

    That would be stupid, as Apple would seal up the hole in 4.1, and we'd have to find another exploit.
