Hi, i had insurance on my old 3GS cause i got it through 02 so just when with there insurance, €9 a month

Fast forward a year, rather then going and buying from a network, I went wnd bought from apple direct.

I'd like it get it insured, mso my question is, would vodafone offer me insurance brought into my bill (vodafone simple), or do you need to buy of them to get it?

My mate said, once the network deals with that phone, then they can insure it

Of course they will... it's making money for the insurance company. If the local vodafone retailer or customer services aren't helping you, just contact the insurance company directly.!

No, mobile companies won't insure a phone bought from elsewhere.

Vodafone will ! I have my apple store bought iphone4 insured with them and there was no problem. Just had to ring them with the details and it was all sorted out over the phone :) can't speak for any of the rest of them though.
