Can I do Irish in the applied languages course even if I only did ordinary level? and also, I looked up the timetable and there doesn't seem to be any Irish classes on it other than cumarsáid scríofa, what's the story with this? It says you can do Irish on the DCU website but it seems quite vague as to who can do it and if it's even on the timetable! Any enlightenment would be appreciated

On a slightly related note; a friend of mine is doing Business and Spanish somewhere else after doing Spanish at OL for the LC, but her tutor raised a good point to her on the first day; "If you weren't able for HL, then why do you think you'll be able for it at Uni?"
Progress Update; she's going to Barcelona this year on Erasmus. :)
You've got your own reasons for wanting to do Irish now, and not having done HL, and I'm not going to diss them, but do think hard about it, you've got to be super motivated to succeed!
