Maghera and Mt. Leinster Mast Replacement - Contract Award

    RTÉNL today published the result of it's Sept 2009 tender to replace masts, structures and antennae at Maghera and Mt. Leinster.

    The contract has been awarded to Turmbau Steffens & Nölle GmbH of Berlin.

    The tender start date for work on the two masts is Jan 2010 with the completion date for Maghera Nov 2012 and Mt. Leinster Oct 2013.

    If the lads from Turmbau Steffens & Nölle are as efficient as the German lads from Huf Haus on C4's Grand Designs the two masts should be up by Christmas. :D
