hi, Im just wondering is the iphone 4 with vodaphone sim locked? and is there any way of upgrading a vodafone number with out getting the microsim. as in if i upgrade my vodaphone number for the Iphone and then get a mirco sim from meteor for it? is it possible or am i just dreaming?

Yes, they're network locked

Some people said the first batch werent but Ive yet to test mine properly, stuck an 02 sim in it & it just brought up the "connect to itunes" screen....not sure if that was a good or bad thing so just put my VF sim back in

just jailbreak and install ultrasn0w and it will be unlocked.
