Your right ccsl the venue is still to be confirmed but from what i hear jamie is looking for a city centre location, reason been he wants the good people of limerick city to come together to make this event really special and bring back into the city what has been lost due to the hard times most ppl have fallen upon.
Also i hear there is a new toyota car and a few scooters up for raffle (happy days)so sounds like he got a lot covered.
I found jamie on twiter heres his link.https://twitter.com/jamiedaly http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100000558296452&ref=ts
All i can say is fair play to the man this is a charity event for some well worth while causes.

Nice to see Jamie getting some credit, just proves some of the arrogant motherfcukers in this thread are wrong about "those kind of people" or "being wide about a chap going to a casino in a tracksuit" http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055570803

well the statement he made he is going to be challenging the late late toy show the whole way considering Rte, are a multi million company, its very gutsy of them to challenge them with no funds! seen that the Munster players are there can they do this? i really hope they can because a'lot of kids are talking about it and i hope it gives them something great this Christmas to talk about :)

Anything that helps raise needed funds for some great local charities is to be commended.

Fair play to the guy who organised it, and I hope it goes well tonight and over the coming nights.

    Would you like to elaborate?
Three great shows one better than the next, last night there was 150 tickets sold on the door as well as a sell out show the crowd went wild for the performers and for the way jamie daly hosted the show but i quess there is no pleasing some people.
I really hope this is the first of many christmas toy shows to come, fair play to jamie and crew.

Hope they do but i hope they dont milk the charity scene in Limerick with too many events like there is 2 well known charity event organisers in Limerick and they are deffo taking a cut
Problem is alot of people dont know how the money is spent any charity night should publish there accounts for that night on website etc

Bigpink, have no doubt, every charity that was involved Barnardos, Childrens Crumlin hospital Dublin, Limerick youth service, and St'munchins community Centre, and there is 15 people on the Committee, and not one person got one cent and they wouldn't take anything in whats going to be for such a number of great Charity's and as a person who knows a number of the committee members they had a few other Charity events before this and went public with them all in what they made & e.t.c. and even down to all the toys that the limerick toy show had Barnardos, will have them donated to them. so be sure there is not one person gaining anything and for those people who do milk charity's there nothing short of a Joke, the Limerick toy show team will Release exactly the figures that was made.

Not saying the Toy show crowd but there is 2 other chartiy event guys in town who seem to do alot of events but alot of people have doubts about them
Just saying this affects other causes,it is good to know they will publish the full break down of the Toy Show because it will give people confidence for future events
