Holiday Pay on Leaving

    Hi guys,

I recently finished a job and was due holiday pay for 11.64 days including two bank holidays.

I did take sick leave through out this time of 3 days.

In my contract it said that sick leave was at the discretion of the employer (as is legal) but I was paid as normal each month I was absent with nothing said or written to me regarding whether this would be counted as a holiday.

I've now received remittance which tells me that five days were deducted from my holiday pay on leaving. Despite that the figure is incorrect can these days be deducted from a final payment of holidays not taken when they were paid up in full in the month that they occurred?
