Why on earth do Bus Eireann have their the journey planner link only at the bottom of the home page?

Why isn't the journey planner and ticket sales all in one?

    Do they actually want customers?

I remember it seemed to be more integrated with their old site. The new site is awful.

It is also at the top and centre left of the front page. The top and bottom links seem to be on every page. There are also links from the Timetables page: http://www.buseireann.ie/inner.php?id=241

If you use the journey planner, you can continue on to buy a ticket. Otherwise, I would have spent thousands on testing http://www.journeyplanner.transportforireland.ie/

Not everyone using the journey planner will want to buy a ticket.

The site is not user friendly. Takes a while to figure out what's what.

Victor - the original post is referring to the old site - it is from 2 years ago.

The Bus Eirann site has changed since.
