Ok not sure about the Northside but I got my lace and beading wedding dress cleaned last year in Express Dry Cleaners in Ranelagh for €85.

I called New York Dry Cleaners on Abbey St and went into Craft Cleaners on Baggot St and they were both over €200 to get it done . I actually left it in to Craft Cleaners and when I got home I asked myself if I was mad so called into my local in Ranelagh and asked the nice ladies there if they thought the Craft would do anything more than they would and they said no, that it's a manual process and down to the skill and care of the dry cleaner but they would only charge €85. I pulled it out of Craft and left it in with them and it came out so perfect that I sold it on a few months later no problem!

I would give marlowe in Clontarf a try. I have used them a few times and know they're good. Go in and have a chat with a few, you can definitely get it done for good value but make sure you get a good trust feeling off the cleaners.......

Mine doesn't have any lace but I got it done in the cleaners in Kilbarrack and it was 50 euro. It came out perfectly, i was really impressed.

Hi thanks for all your help :)

Actually I found a place very close to me in Northwood, that costs between 60-80euro depending on lace / beading etc so will be popping across the road to them :)

Imagine paying a few hundred!! wow thankfully I know now!
    :D

LashingLady - did yours have a lot of beading? Mine has quite a bit on the front but was hoping to sell on soon. I work in Ranelagh - where is that dry cleaners you are talking about!

Good prices, I paid 165 after the wedding followed by 110 after the trash the dress. Mine although not huge had a lot of material as it was all scrunched. I found the last place brilliant, on the hill in Leixlip, the dress was manky and I wasnt too pushed about getting every stain out as it is getting cut up for a communion dress anyway but they did an amazing job.
