What's the script with the WiFi?

Been trying to connect in college today (Friars suite in St Athony's and Aras ui Chathail) and it's shocking. Takes forever to connect properly, then ages to get to the authentication page, then keeps having to reconnect.

Its usually really good, maybe they're just doing maintenance and stuff before everyone starts back?
