Fans have been all up in Hideo Kojima's face requesting -- nay, demanding -- that he come up with something for the integration of Trophy Support and 3D for Metal Gear Solid 4. Thing is, Kojima would want the same thing as well, just as long as he doesn't have to be the one to do it.

Said Kojima, finally addressing the rabid demands, "I wanted to make a 'Complete Version' with trophy support and 3D, but if I did that I wouldn't be able to work on a new game. I wonder if someone else would make it for me."

I just want Trophy Support, not 3D. If they just made the Emblems into Trophies, that'd do! If Uncharted had the framework for Trophies beforehand, surely MGS4 did?!

Could you use a different profiles save in the game, if not then the trophies could be work if you had the medal already.

Was holding off playing through this again in hope of trophy support but i doubt it will happen, how hard would it be to make a patch for it

But in fairness he's already let down the MGS community with Rising because I'm a huge fan of MGS and I certainly don't wanna play Raidin in a 'lightening bolt action' game! The least he could do is give the snake fans something. And isn't it his team are making this and not him anyway? Surely it wouldn't take that long for a couple of guys to throw a trophy list together could it??

Huh?
You can't blame him, he had little input to Rising as his time was spent on Peacewalker.

As for the trophies, there is already emblems in the game that can be achieved.
Just get every emblem and you can pretend you got the platinum.

Well I do find it hard to believe that Kojima didn't nudge his guys in certain direction, after all he's spend a long time building the series.

And as for pretending, well I just don't have time because I'm too busy building lego with my imaginary friend:cool:
