I have a Quad LNB on my Sky dish at the moment and need another connection. i've heard of "Octo-LNB's", will these work fine with the Sky dish or has anyone any experience using one?

    Thanks mate.

I'm not sure if my dish is MK3 or pre-MK3, but I do have a quad on it at the moment so do you reckon it should simply replace the quad?

yes just a simple swapover, bracket included for earlier version of dish.

Yep, I've got one Declan on an 80cm dish for Sky. Works perfectly. The TV installer simply swapped the LNBs over, as far as I can remember.

You may need to fine tune elvation (up/down), azimuth (left/right) and skew (LNB rotation in bracket) for best "quality". Any change in "level" is irrelevent.

Thanks all for the help, installed it myself today using the "Legacy adapter" that came with it, now have a Sky + HD box (taking advantage of the FTA HD channels like ITV and BBC), and three FTA boxes around the house.

You got a great deal there, not everybody includes the adapter.

Think the whole lot was around 25euros Inc postage. Delighted with everything now.
