Not sure if there is a better forum for this but the school bus route has changed and now it drops at one school before the school opens. It is a country route so has kids going to different schools and unfortunately my child is the only one going to his school so I am not happy about him being dropped outside the school on his own before it is open (he is 7). Anyone know if the school bus is within its rights to do this?

Other kids have got to go to their own school and be there on time but if you consider it an issue then perhaps take it up with the bus company or the school.

Well I presume that seeing as there is a bus route that someone is going to end up early, have you spoken to the school or the bus driver? Perhaps the route could be altered?

It depends on the school. If its in a village with other people around maybe OK, but if its an isolated school and he is stood there completely on his own for any length of time, its a risk I wouldnt take with my (hypothetical) 7 year old.
