    Hi All,

    Ok, so i ve been with my BF for the last 3 years.. We love each other very much.. He has a little girl with his ex and it ended very badly and she doesnt allow him access.

    We were out tonight for a few drinks and came home and one thing led to another... But during sex he turns to me and says ''Claire (his ex) you dont know what you do to me! He looked at me and quickly apologised and said he didn't know why he said her name..

    Should I be worried or was it a harmless slip of the tongue

    I'd advise not using real names that could make you identifiable, OP.

    Saying the wrong name is often just an innocent brain/mouth temporary disconnection. Sometimes when I'm thinking about or worried about some situation - even subconsciously (as your boyfriend may be with his daughter), I blurt out a name or part of a sentence that's going over in my head into the conversation I'm having in real life - especially with a few jars on board.

    I'm always calling people by the wrong name, or if i type a name in a text i'll often send it to the person i've named instead of the intended recipient. Granted now, i've never done it during sex! I would try not read to much into it, drink involved and all that, just a slip of the tongue, but i can see why you'd be upset, if my missus called me by someone elses name during sex, i'd hit the roof!
