Does anyone know how much notice I have to give to quit Eircom(I've already been pasted 12 months)? Also how easy/hard to port my old number is it?

Its all very easy , takes about a week , upc give you a temporary number while the change over takes place .

AFAIK, with most providers the norm is 30 days notice.

With UPC, they give you a tempoaray number until your own number is ported. They say it takes about 3 wks.

    Hope this helps
