    Hi,
If a teacher really wanted to work at a particular school and were offered a permanent place at another school & accepted it could they then quit and move to the other school if they are offered a job without having to move to the bottom of the pay scale again. And how much notice would a teacher have to give before they left.

I left a permanent job mid-term and got PRPT full hours in another school. I gave one month's notice and started my new school on the same point of the scale. Both schools were VEC schools and I presume that voluntary secondary schools are the same, am open to correction though.
