    Hello,

Has anyone bought software fom http://www.software4students.ie/

The prices seem to be too good to be true, eg Office 2008 for mac is €70.45, inc VAT & delivery. Is there a catch?

    thanks.

There is a new edition of Mac Office due soon hence the lower price on this. TBH, the old one will be fine and dandy for you so don't worry atall; go ahead and buy :)

    Hi

I already have bought it some time ago from the Apple site for €109.95! However, for my next purchase it's good to know the this site is reliable.

    Thanks.

Reagrding Office 2010 from software4students is it the full retail(with outlook) or is it the Student edition(minus outlook).

    Accord to http://www.software4students.ie/Microsoft_Office_for_Mac_2011-details.aspx
    ***Includes Outlook***

I bought office '07 (download) for a windows laptop from that site last year and it was straightforward... good site.

I just bought Office 2010 professional plus media for €64.95.(Arrived next day) I am not a student but you just have to say you are and list a school/college that is known. RRP for this product is €466 so great bargain - but - I am reliably informed that this 'loophole' will finish at end of this month, March 2012.

    Oh nicely spotted people.

Tell me this - I have a dual booted mac. I currently have a buggy office 2008 for mac on it and planned to upgrade.

Which is better - Office 2011 for Mac
or Office 2010 on my Windows partition ?

Try the demo of Office 2011 for Mac, it's pretty slick. Personally for something that you'd use as frequently as Word, I'd not want to have to be constantly rebooting.

    Office 2011

Have parallels and Office 2010 - 2011 is superior
