Dose any one know if there is a way to just buy word on it own with out haveing to fork out for all of the office suite?

You dont tend to save much just going for 1 standalone app and if you subsequently want another it can end up costing you more overall than going for one of the smaller suites in the first place.

I know its not what You asked, but there is an alternative to office thats completely free and does exactly the same job (even better IMO)
