CFS / Fibromyalgia and retroviruses

By now anybody reading this forum who has CFS and/or Fibromyalgia (probably the same disease) will be aware of the major breakthroughs by scientists such as Mikovits, Lo, Alter and De Meilleir find a very strong association between these conditions and a family of retroviruses.

The next step is clinical trials of anti retroviral drugs for people with these conditions. This will take time and some don't want to wait. De Meillier is treating people as are some Drs in the US and the results seem positive based on anecdotal reports.

Does anyone know if any Irish doctor, be it a GP or consultant, who would be willing to do likewise? I'd be very grateful for a pm if you don't want to put such information on an open forum. I'm due to undergo a fairly invasive operation shortly and can't help wondering if anti retroviral drugs would render it unnecessary.
