Well basically split some beer on the the keyboard of the laptop one night. Just wondering if it's just the keyboard i need to replace....
It could be working grand for a while then all of a sudden things like all the number keys are in shift mode and I cant turn shift mode off, when i type stuff it deletes by itself like i'm holding down the backspace key when im not and when i try to scroll down a page it just keeps jumping back to the top of the page...

Just want to know is it simply a case of replacing the keyboard or could be it be worse than that.

    Thanks .

It sounds like it's just your keyboard sticking due to the residue left by the beer under the keys when it dried out.
You can try removing the keyboard and checking the components underneath for any sign of Beer. If it's clean then you can either replace the keyboard or clean it.
The advice in this thread from earlier on in the week should work for you.
