    Hi All

    I have a problem with a 1998 Civic 1.4cc (5dr model)

The engine can't seem to idle properly and cuts out. Its fine as long as its on the move.

My mechanic has replaced the throttle body but it seems no better.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

    Thanks

If it has a PCV valve then clean it out or replace - might help.
The one on my h22a was clogged and made it run rough. On mine it was an 'L' shaped piece of plastic plugged into the rocker/valve cover. Just soak it to clean. Should make a rattleing noise when shook if its fine.

edit. btw - honda service team weren't able to diagnose this.
