Psychology in Europe

    Hey there,
I'm in the middle of my undergrad in Psychology and I was just wondering if anywhere knows where I could find a list of the top psychology programs in Europe?

I'm planning to go away for my postgrad studies and since I haven't yet decided on which area I want to continue my studies in I was just hoping to browse around what's availible. However with experience of individual countries I don't really have anyway to tell which uni's are worth looking at. And my googling hasn't helped me narrow it down. Any suggestions, or could someone point me in the direction of a good list?

I know it can really depend on which area of study I want to pursue but a general guide would really help:)

Leiden university has some excellent psychology programs. I have two friends just finishing up there and they have nothing but good things to say!

Thank so much! Are your friends doing undergrad or post grad? Would you mind asking them if the college organises your internships or do you have to do it yourself? Did your friends speak Dutch before they went over?

It's a one year postgraduate course in clinical psychology. You have to remember that the road to becoming a psycholigist is massively different on the continent. The course itself is actually taught through English so the language wasn't an issue. I believe they had assistance in finding internships but ultimately they had to do their own networking. I got the impression, however, that being in that course was a great boon for any prospective employers.

I took a look at the course yesterday, it actually looks, on the face of it, to be a good course for people considering clinical in the future. Looking at the fees, can it really be that they are €1,600? Hard to understand such low fees.

It might be that some governments invest in education?
