Single mass flywheel kit for Ford Transit??

    Hello,

I had to get a new clutch kit fitted to my '01 ford transit 260 2.0TD swb, about 2 years ago and it sounds like its going again- juddering a bit in low gears - Besides this problem I'm happy with the van.

If it goes again, should I get a single mass flywheel like this one

    http://www.irishautoparts.ie/car-parts/clutch-parts-clutch-flywheels-dual-mass-flywheel-single-mass-conversion-kit.html

Is this the same as a 'solid flywheel' ?

How much would this cost to get fitted?

Would I save money buying it myself and giving it to a mechanic to fit?

Are they better than the dual mass - how many years could I expect to get out of them ?

Sorry, loadz of questions , any info appreciated , Cheers

Definatly get the Solid fly wheel kit, it the fly wheel its self should last the lifetime of the van, the dual mass is a stupid system i think they all seem to give trouble espically on fords
