    Yes, with a passion.
It sucks the life out of me but it also pays the bills.
Having experienced the joys of signing on my job is marginally better...or so I try to convince myself.

Come on, does noone have an amusing anecdote that will make me feel better about my shíte situation? My work environment is so toxic - people cry all the time and there have been several people who had to take time off to deal with possible nervous breakdowns. It's that bad folks.

Look for a new job. Saying that, I don't love my job either, but right now I am financially 'secure'. I'd take job satisfaction over a massive pay rise right now. I had a job in the past, that was more like a hobby. I'd happily work 12 hour shifts. Sadly, I had to move on due to actually getting a degree and all that ****e. I'm not so sure about this whole career malarky myself anymore.

Just quit my job. Was working in the pharmaceutical industry. It would be considered to be a pretty good job especially in these times and the people I worked with were lovely but the work itself sucked the life out of me (safety related work). Also it was located in a run-down town in rural England full of chavs. So back to college for a masters and then emigrate again I reckon!

I didn't so much hate my job, but I hated the conditions that I had to put up with because they prevented me from doing my job properly, which meant I was really unhappy there for the last few months that I was there & I was becoming really disheartened... but I started a new job last week and I think I might really really like it! I don't have as many hours as the old job but I don't care, my life is going to be so much easier I think.

So chin up OP, there is hope out there that it won't always be like it is now for you!

I used to love my job. I was just a barman but it was such a great laugh. Then I got promoted and got responsibilities and a new kind of ignorant customer started frequenting the place so I grew to hate it. I used to dread going in. Then I got l made redundant and I don't miss it all. After 10 years, with any luck I'll never have to do bar work again.
