    Hey guys,

This is going to sound really weird, but I'm going to throw it out there. I'm not sure this is the right place, but here goes.

In the last month, I've noticed the skin around my ankles is a bit itchy in a couple of spots. I haven't taken much notice of it, but in the last week I'm beginning to notice that there's a couple of other itchy spots on my body...literally, on my hip, my knee, my stomach...they're like hives, or bites. I can barely see anything on the skin when I look at it, but it flares up and becomes itchy every couple of hours.

So I guess what I'm asking is, could these be bed bugs, or fleas or something? How do I find out? I'm a super clean person - shower every night and wash my clothes very regularly. We've no animals at present - haven't had for a couple of months. My head is not itchy, so I'm guessing it's not head lice. The house is clean, bed sheets are changed and washed regularly. I've no experience of this kind of thing, I don't even know where to start looking for what might be the cause. My OH doesn't seem to be having any problems like this, so it must be something to do with me or something I'm doing...

    Anyone??

There could be any number of reasons for this, some environmental, some medical. The best person to speak to is your GP as I'm afraid we can't give medical advice on Boards.
