PS message for MOD's- theres no food and drink prefix for use when posting?
I think there is a Groceries prefix? Anyway, I have often seen Dunnes and Tesco offer 8 for €10. In fact I still have 4 packs of them left from the last offer (best before late November so still good to go :)).

Beer doesn't go off. They just have to have "Best Before" date as they are a food stuff.

Got 5x 8packs in Dunnes Tullamore for 10euro each today. Exp date is sometime in 2011.
Plenty on the shelves still. Assume it is countrywide.

Sorry but that's incorrect, beer does go off, have you never gotten a bad pint in the pub, chances are it's gone off, same thing happens to beer in bottles and cans.
