Its looking fanastic. You will enjoy it for sure!!:):):):)

Keeping the ball in play will keep your score low.

Tip - 5th hole has a narrow fairway. Aim for the big tree near the 3rd hole tee box and hit it with a slight draw.:):)

Loved it. Lovely lovely course. A few unfinished bits here and there but I expected that going down to be honest. Fantastic greens and a great selection of holes. Will definitely back, the best round of golf I'll ever get for €17, that's for sure.

Loved it also, did you float a wedge 180 yards on the elevated par 3? Some hole, looks like it's going to fly into the forest then bang, dancefloor

The index 1 dogleg right over the drop is an excellent hole also.

No, I hit a six-iron over the green after watching me pal feather a rescue-club into the back bunker! Just couldn't bring myself to hit it, but eight-iron was the club!

I drove into the hazard on the Ind 1 and was ragin but I hit a rescue greenside and got up&down for bogey so that put a smile back on my face! What a great hole. A good mix of 300yd holes and long par-fours that needed as much as a rescue-club for the approach.

It's maybe a half-hour too far a drive to play regularly but I'll definitely be back again before winter. I noticed a deal from Mon-Thurs: two green-fees and one buggy (it's a kind of tough walk here and there) for €25 per player - very very good value.

It's a short 7 or hard 8 for me every week depending how much the wind is playing. 2nd fav hole of the course.

Ouch...that can be a card wrecker so fair play to get a bogey!

Yeah but do come again as its a gem!! Mid week are cheaper!!:):):)

    Glad you enjoyed it!

Near Arklow in Co Wicklow. Bit of a spin but with the special offers available it's well worth the trip. Will most certainly be back.

The Par 3 down the hill is great - kind of surreal, the ball seems like it will never come down, just dropping, dropping... droppingggggg then bang!

Its more closer to Aughrim. The par 3 downhill is mad, nothing quite beat it when u hit a sweet shot onto the dancefloor close to the pin. A par 3 here is good. A up and down from outside the green is even better coz of the slopes of the green.

Want to know how did find the next hole, the 5th and the short par 4 on the 6th, did you go for the green or lay up.

I honestly didn't find a bad hole on the course. The fifth played long for me, the fairway is above you, slightly dog-legged right-to-left and looks alot narrower from the tee than it actually is (this seems to be a bit of a feature of the course actually). I drove an average drive into the middle of the fairway and had over 200yds to go, I hit a v good rescue club to the back of the green (which was where the pin was, at luck would have it!) and two-putted for a par.

The short par-four 6th is a great hole. About 300/310yds off white tees. But there's a ditch at about 200yds going across the fairway which kind of forces you to take driver even though it's a narrow target with trees guarding both sides of the fairway. My pal hit rescue off the tee and found the ditch. I drove into the trees but was able to punch an eight-iron low and onto the green... where I three-putted for a bogey :o

The fifth is quite long for anybody off the white with so little fairway to play with it. The ideal shot is to hit a nice draw onto the narrow fairway and normally leave urself a 150-175 to the green which is tough going! So well done for getting a par, most members find this hole quite difficult.

For the 6th, i always try and go for the green, a few attempts short of the green by the bunker. You will need a bit of wind to help you there. A slice or a push drive leave u in the trees but i find that not all that difficult to get out onto the green, a nice punchy shot as u said will be ideal.
