Can guests wear flowers at weddings?

    I was going to wear a flower on my suit for a wedding I'm going to, but someone told me that they thought only the wedding party were supposed to do this. Is this true??

    Usually it is only the wedding party but I think it is up to the bride and groom themselves. eg on our day we supplied flowers for all males, the bridal party ones had red bows with the rest cream. If there is one offered by all means take it but otherwise I would say no.

    I don't see any problem with it. I would wear it. My dad sometimes takes a rose from the bush - if in bloom - if he is going to a wedding.

    What a lovely idea!

    Wear it and be joyful. It is a equivalent of a girl wearing a flower in her hair.

    What rot that only the weddding party can wear flowers!!!!!! The only "rule" that actually I follow is: Only the Bride wears White.
