360 Sniping

Has anyone been 360 quick scope sniped or in fact do it themselves? It happened to me a month or two ago, I was raging at the time but was messing around in private lobbies since, it's seriously tricky. It seems your sensitivity needs to be set to 10, but some claim they can do it on 7.

What's your thoughts? Quick poll.

Its for kids and noobs who cant play properly so spend all their time trying for fancy killcams and getting their team annihilated in the process

Not pushed really, either way he killed me. Its definitely less annoying than being cold blooded and having a teammate spawn beside you and have a predator come slamming down on top of you. Or being mortared by OMA noobtubing gits with dangerclose. Or being spawn killed. Or having your stinger miss a harrier which then kills you, etc. etc.

We did a quick scoping private lobby on here recently and I somehow won so I can hardly hate it that much though I never do it in a competitive game.

I don't mind dying to one, heck usually it means I get to kill them before they get to kill me.

What really pisses me off is SnD wannabes basically suiciding to get some 1337 quickscopezZzZZZZz!

Being able to quick scope is a skill and i think its essential if you want to be a really good sniper, but the whole 360 **** is just people showing off etc, doesn't bother me as such because i cant recall being 360'd in a non private game and usually shoot their face off before they've done a 180, its annoying in SnD tho, when people are trying to trick shot from half the map away or just generally failing and losing your team the round.

Usually just kids having fun, so let them at it, as long as it doesn't cost my team the game i don't care.

Fukking hate snipers with a vengence.Not that I killed overly much by them but its just a sad excuse to camp.Wont play on derail,wasteland full of the feckers.

Having said that I die more often by noobtubers and other peoples stabby stabby class so i think my hate is a bit irrational!

Have no prob getting my ass handed to me by a no scope but the amount of fools tring to do it(and cant)is gas and nearly makes me forgot the camping nob end on the otherside of the map hiding in a bush disguised as a bush that gets me(yeah I know thats what snipers do in RL!!)

Don't mind it if I get pwned by a seriously skilled player but as was already mentioned, I've come across way too many players trying to get final killcams with such shots when they're utterly sh1te and end up losing either rounds or the full match due to such antics.

I prefer getting sniped by someone in a still position, I dont consider snipers to be campers, its what they're supposed to do, not run around with a 50cal rifle diving off roofs and spinning around in midair :rolleyes: Campers who annoy me are guys with 2 shotguns pointed at a stairs, a decent MW2 player should know where not to go to get around being sniped, Wasteland is pretty much the only map I snipe on, I dont bother on Derail anymore its more fun to just leg around with cold blooded and ninja pro on and wreck snipers heads

Don't mind when I see really skilled players get some nice quick sniper kills, but I can't stand people who run around just trying to get "OMG sick sniper killzzzzz" in the game winning kill.
Can remember one time in search and destroy on highrise,last round score 3-3 me and a mate were messing with riot shields and they planted the bomb he dies and I start defusing it and keep hearing the ping of bullets off the shield, half a second after defusing I die. Mates told me after the guy on the other team had been trying 360s off the helipad in the middle.
Idiot cost his team the game from not getting the easy kill!

Notice how noone has ever posted a video of them playing a match while 360 killing everyone, it's not possible. It's only ever used for montage or messing

I love quick scoping but cannot see the need to do a spin first

Yeah, it's pretty much been said already here. Anyone who does it the whole time ends with a horrible k:d. Anyone who tries it for match winning killcam either ends in embarrrassing failure, or comes across as a dick.

Quickscoping is frustrating, as the inaccuracy is ignored by the Console weak hit detection. But I don't mind that much with it. Not much difference being quickscoped or blasted with a spas.

This guy who did it to me was about 12 and was bit of a screaming fanboy. He wasn't a bad player as it happens, finished Top 2 every time for the run of matches I was in. He wasn't boosting or using tubes.

It's pretty show-offy, but it's hilarious if they miss and just get blasted in the face. I haven't come across it that much though really.

I've never seen them actually get a kill by doing it. Most of the time I come across them they end up going massively negative. A good quickscoper on the other hand deserves praise. Especially if doing so on Irish broadband.
