Hey folks, am starting up a new venture and looking for an ultra cheap office in Dublin city. Have tried a few links and have only found a deskspace that comes in at 275 pm (in a shared room) but I want a full one-room office with a door! Anyone know of something central enough and cheap enough? Ideally not more than 200 per month.

The best approach would probably be to start contacting the estate agents located in and around the city centre. Most of them will have some options for you to look at.

Surely you checked Daft before posting here?

For that price i dont think you would find anything, For own door access you would need to be paying 4-500 euro p.m at its lowest city centre. And for this you wouldn't get anything spacious or in a good accessible location.

Are you sure that you want to commit yourself to rent, do you need a office?, If you can commit to more than €200pm then maybe you should let your business grow organically before commiting to rental costs.

Thanks for that Rob. Yeah I have looked around a fair bit and have decided I'm going to have to forget about the office for now. You're right- rent starts at 400pm at least, unless I settle for a deskspace and that's not what I'm looking for right now.

I have a chance to go down the 'creative' spaces route though so I'm looking into that now. It's going to be that or work from home.

400 per month is probably as cheap as you're going to get. I know of offices in Temple Bar for rent (just opposite the Porterhouse- its called Crane Lane). The landlord has a big sign in the lane advertising them for 99 euro per week.
