Can anyone tell me what are the consequences for not turning up to a appointed court date in the family courts? Thanks.

The matter can be adjourned, or can proceed in your absence if the court is happy with service.

If it is a motion for attachment and commital for being in default of a previous court order, the court can order the gardai arrest the person
