Message Time & Credit Draining

Can any one tell me how to find out what time a message was sent to my iphone. It comes up on some of the messages what time it was sent but other times it wont let me know. Any ideas.

Also im on pre pay and so dont go on net every day. But some days when i check my credit it has drained without going on net or making phone calls. Any ideas how to turn off the internet connection settings. Its costin me a fortune.

Finally, is it true there is no internet bundles available on 02 pre pay. Seems kind of harsh. Went on the net one day and looked at maybe 6 you tube vids checked sky sports and few other sites( not exactly downloading blockbusters) and my credit went by about 8euro. I though once you use the internet it costs 1euro for the day without over doing it. I would have thought i was over doing it at all.

Is it just me? I am kind of thick at these things!

    Any advice would be great!

Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data - switch this off to disable 3G internet connectivity. You might be using data without realizing it, a lot of apps use different services (push, etc) that could be doing stuff in the background. And I think on PAYG, you are charged the 99c as soon as you use 1KB anyway... So that could explain the drain somewhat...

On Vodafone, it's 99c for up to 50MB a day (though you can get 100MB for less if you're on Vodafone 360 I think) - if you go over this, they start charging per KB which can add up fast. I think O2 has a similar structure in place for PAYG but someone else can confirm.

Yeah with o2 you get 50mb for 99cents per day(on whatever days you use Internet) and with vodafone you can get 100mb per day for 39cents on the 360 PAYG plan.
And for that reason alone I'm switching to vodafone from u2.

its so annoying that there is not a simple "turn data off" switch.

apple obviously dont want us to be able to turn it off (imo :))

Time stamps aren't random in messages, even though they may initially appear to be. Once a timestamp has been set in a message stream it won't show another one for 15 minutes. So if you send and receive 50 texts, no time stamp until the first one that arrives 15 minutes after the first one. There's no option to change this time frame at the minute.

I see on their website that this offer is available until 30th September. So does that mean it will end or just that you have to sign up before 30th sept?
