2003 530D e39 buying advice

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a new car the moment... well by 'new' i mean a 530D e39.
Apart from the 1566 euro road tax a year... are there things that I should look out for. I was told that the 2003 model year was the last of this shape and should prove to be the most reliable as most production kinks would have long since been ironed out.
Things I've been told to watch for
    1) Bushings need to be replaced often.
    2) Turbo on the diesel needs replacing around 80k
    3) Can be expensive to service even going the non bmw mechanic route?

The car I'm looking at is around 130,000kms. Is this too high mileage... and likely to cause me grief?

I don't mind the normal wear and tear of high mileage cars but want something comfortable, bulletproof, still looks nice, etc... The 530d ticked all these boxes to me....

Very interested to see what you have to say here....
