I was today offered a University place with commences on Monday the 6th September.

My employer isn't the fairest in the world so I'm trying to find a way to get myself out in time to start the course. Any ideas?

Does your employer know you were applying for college course or thinking of pursuing one?

I know when I went to college every year, they brought us in one day the week or two before to go through registration, timetables, rules, ID stuff, problems students had etc. It could be one of those days and you would start at a later date?

Well the best thing is to tell your employer as soon as possible.

I don't know what type of job is it, but you might need a part time job during university so maybe you can keep on the job during weekends, evening time instead? or help until they find your replacement.
