Question about boots.

    I bought my first pair of knee high boots online (I had to buy online because I couldn't find non-leather boots in Dublin) The problem is that I have really skinny ankles but normal sized calves. The boots crinkle around the ankle. They fit fine and they're really comfy so does the crinkle matter? Does it look stupid? I can't tell myself and my mam says they're fine but I think she's just being mammyish :p
    I seriously don't have a clue when it comes to stuff like this!

    I have the same problem...

    What I do is... get a pair of long light socks... and fold them over at the ankle... kinda bulks the ankle out a bit and stops the crinkling!!

    sofaqueen makes a good suggestion.

    I've found that at the start the crinkle is fine, but as it settles into the leather it becomes more pronounced and I personally don't like it, it looks a bit sloppy or makes the boots look older than they are. Good boot trees after wearing might help prevent this also
