I have heard of only 1 in country and they retail at about 1600 euro. I assume that you have a 9mm licence to substitute it for ?

    B&T TP9 i presume - Good taste BTW!
    Yeah got a space

From that, can we presume you're not in Ireland?

If you are in Ireland, I thought that you could only be licenced on the c/f pistol which you were already licenced on prior to the "cut-off" date (i.e. substitutions weren't allowed?) ?

Sorry for the thread derailment - just confused and interested!:D

At the Birr game fair last weeek I met a dealer (wont mention names) who told me that he was selling full bore target pistols to the public who had full bore target pistols pre "the date".....

To the OP .. your asking a tall order. The B&T TP9 while a fastastic piece of craftmanship cannot be justified under irish law. The only campartaive firearms that Ive seen (not in ireland but in the EU) are Mini UZIs, certain MP5 varients, MAC 10s, early Thompson 1921s etc. Ive yet to see any of the above legally held in IE.
