Minor Bodywork Repair - Easiest colour to Match?

    Ok Lads

For Bodywork Repair on a car, what is the easiest colour to repair and match the surrounding paintwork,

I mean professionally done, and for metallic paint? I viewed 2 cars in the last 2 days, both had very minor dents in them, and the owner "allowed" for this in their price,

1st car = Dark Metallic Blue = Dent in middle of Bonnet, Mechanic advised to me that it would be nightmare to match the colour if repaired

2nd Car = Metallic Black = Minor Ding on the Wing, no Mechanic with me so no professional advice supplied;)

If I were to buy one of the cars I would intend to get the small dent repaired

What do ye think would be the more straight forward repair? I intend to look at more cars over the coming week, all around 5 years old, so I expect a minor blemish on these cars at this age

    Thanks

Colour matching is rarely an issue these days. The wing would be the smaller of the two repairs IMHO

Without knowing anything about car painting, Silver seems to be a disaster from the number of dodgy jobs I see driving around
