I'm looking to convert a number of DVDs of tv series I have to avi, to add to my external hard drive to use with Plex. I'm wondering what's the best program to use, I don't mind spending a few euro to buy one if it makes things easier. Thanks

Thanks for the advice, was looking at handbrake for the job, it just seems a bit tricky having to pic the right file, re:subtitles and the dubbed soundtrack or is that just me over complicating it
