Proper gold paints can go for about 50 quid+ for a half pint. Those are meant for adornment or the replacement of gold leaf.

Crown have an expressions/feature wall range that have a number of metallic emulsions, one of them is called Striking and is a nice subtle gold tone. I use it for certain special finishes, paper-with-paint etc.
I don't know about painting 3 walls with it...going to be overkill IMO.

Probably best to apply this finish over a properly base coated wall too.
