ACCA exemptions - Belgian institution

    Hey lads,

I am planning on starting the ACCA study next year.

I currently hold a Bachelor of Accounting degree from an institution in Belgium (my home country). My institution is unfortunately not listed on the ACCA Exemptions Database. Does that mean that I wont be eligible for exemptions?

Has any one you had the same story before and still managed to get exemptions? If so, how does that work? From what I understand, you can buy the exemptions and then write down 'part qualified' in your CV?

Thanks in advance for your assistance on this :)

Smcgiff the mod on here is an ACCA so he would be best to give you advise. My advise is to contact the ACCA office directly and see where you stand with exemptions. They will probably ask you to submit college documents to assess creditability of your course for awarding exemptions.

Exactly as Odats said, contact ACCA by email or phone (see website) - They will probably ask you to submit your exam papers and college syllabus.

    Good luck!
