Recommended Tradesmen

Hi All,

I've been thinking about posting this for a while - over the course of the build, I've come accross some good trades and some bad. Every so often though, there is a tradesman who stands out - excellent work, decent prices, etc. I'm sure there are others on boards who have experienced the same, and I'm sure there are folks going through the building process who would like to know who to ask.

So with that in mind, For people in the Cork/Tipp/Limerick area (Mitchelstown, Fermoy, Cahir, etc, but may work further afield) I can highly recommend:

Tiler - excellent work (I've received many many compliments), and he was the cheapest quote I received (by as much as 1/2 compared with other quotes!). I can't recommend this guy highly enough, really gave a quality look to the finish of the house.

Carpenter - He's still doing some work for me and 2nd fixing the bathrooms, but so far, really excellent work, and great price. Even though he's quite busy he never lets me waiting. He's a friend of the Tiler above actually.

Slates - This guy did the slates on my roof. Nice clean job (fiber cement slates, can't comment on other types), great price, on time, etc.
