I'm travelling on Ryanair soon and need to bring a lot of luggage. I have already booked in a 20kg bag. When I go to manage my booking it gives me the choice to book a second checked bag (max 15kg - €35)

Can anyone confirm if I buy this that I will be entitled to carry 1 x 20kg and 1 x 15kg for a total of €60?

Yes that is correct. You will be paying the charge each way though and don't forget you have a 10kg carry-on bag allowance as well

I know, moving away though so bringing a lot of stuff, means I can have 45kg with me for €60 (plus the flight was an extra €10), much much cheaper than shipping to Europe.

Thanks for the reply anyway though

Actually, not necessarily. I am moving back home in a few months myself and have started looking for the best way to get my gear back. It turns out that GLS are very cheap. They charge by size, not weight. You can send 50kg of all your small and heavy stuff to the continent for about €25...

I'll have a look thanks, any quotes I was getting were over €100 for 20kg

It took me a while to find the prices on their convoluted website... to save you some time, here is a direct link:
